Seattle is divided into eleven areas for our arrangment of the art pieces.
Within each area the individual pieces are placed in a hopefully convenient
route going more or less from north to south. For the areas, the city is
split east and west by I-5 and the west is naturally bordered by Puget Sound
with the east bordered by Lake Washington.
Northwest Area runs from the city line south to Lake Union / Ship Canal.
Queen Anne / Magnolia Area continues south to Denny Way.
Downtown North runs to Union Street.
Downtown South continues to Yesler Way.
Pioneer Sq. / International District goes to S. Royal Brougham Way.
Southwest Area runs to the south city line.
Northeast Area similarly runs from the north city line south to N.E. 45th St.
University of Washington District continues south to the Montlake Cut.
Central North runs to Union Street.
Central South continues to I-90.
Southeast Area continues on to the south city line.
